Botswana Safari Guide Qualifications

The Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA) is the official organization that accredits training providers to offer nature guide training skills programmes.

The BQA Level 2 Nature Guide (NQF2) is the entry level qualification for guides wanting to start a career in guiding in Botswana, formerly known as a professional guide license.

So to qualify for the Botswana Top Safari Guides list, guides need a BQA Level 2 Nature Guide (NQF2) or professional guide license qualification plus a minimum of eight (8) years experience.
